What is the difference between making that sale and breaking that sale? Sometimes it is as simple (and complicated) as your level of confidence. You want people hungry for what you have to sell. Like the gentleman in Charles’ story, you want to be the type of person that people search high and low to find so that they can pay your $2000 for your product. And, we ask, how is your confidence level?

Confidence makes such a difference! People feel more comfortable trusting you if you seem to trust yourself.
You are absolutely right! My husband works in sales, and he often talks about the sad truth that so many really talented, intelligent people fall through the cracks where he works because they just don’t have the confidence necessary to succeed in such an industry. I really believe that confidence is something that can be learned and worked on, though, so you’re not a lost cause if you don’t have much of it! 🙂
This is something I need to work on, I’m not naturally confident in speaking. Writing, I’m fine, but speaking needs practice.
